Hopewell Junction- Charles Joseph Jagielski, a resident of Hopewell Junction for the past 24 years and previously from the Bronx, NY, passed away on February 27, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was 65 years old.
Charlie was born on November 24, 1957, the son of Stanley and Ellen (Moylan) Jagielski.
Charlie attended Manhattan College, and after graduation went into banking. For over 30 years, he worked for J.P. Morgan Chase where he rose to the level of Vice President of Specialty Finance. He was last working as a Commercial Lender in Fishkill, NY.
On May 28, 1988 he married the love of his life Regina "Gina" Sheridan. They married at Manhattan College where they both attended at different times.
Charlie loved to cook, spend time with his family, go fishing and coaching his son in soccer.
He was also an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.
In addition to his wife Regina "Gina", he is survived by his sons Christopher and Gregory, his sisters Susan and her husband John Falussy, and Geraldine Ambrosio, his brother Stanley and his wife Cindy Jagielski, his mother-in-law Regina Sheridan, and many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, father in law Hugh Paul Sheridan and brother-in-law Ralph Ambrosio.
Calling hours will be Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc. 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY from 4pm-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY.
