Charles James Reinhardt, a longtime resident of Fishkill, NY, passed away on January 7, 2024, surrounded by family. He was 55 years old.
Charlie was born on July 6, 1968, in Beacon, NY, the son of Charles and Mary (McCloskey) Reinhardt.
He attended Suny Plattsburgh, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. He also earned an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Dutchess Community College.
He was a dedicated civil servant for many years in the Town of Wappingers where he worked in accounting. Known for his unwavering moral character comprised of truth and loyalty, his sense of humor, love of 80's music (especially the Eagles and America) and, of course, his total devotion to the New England Patriots. Charlie was the ultimate game show host for Family Feud and Jeopardy. Holidays will not be the same without him. This loving son, supportive brother, true friend, and devoted Uncle and Godfather will be missed beyond measure.
Charlie is survived by his loving Mother, Mary Reinhardt of Fishkill, NY, his beloved sisters: Melissa Gilbride and her husband George of Littleton, MA, Doreen Burbrink and her husband Chad of Atlanta, GA, Nancy Ortiz-Daley and her husband Rich of Atlanta, GA and his nephews who meant the world to him: Jordan Baker of Columbus, OH, Taylor Finkel of Colorado Springs, CO, Jackson Burbrink of Atlanta, GA, Tyreak Burbrink of Atlanta, GA, Jason Ortiz of Atlanta, GA and Joe Daley of Atlanta, GA.
He is predeceased by his father Charles Reinhardt.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street Fishkill, NY.
