WINGDALE - Charles James Seabring, Sr., 76, an area resident since 1977, died on July 8, 2025 at home. He previously lived in the Bronx.

Born at Fordham Hospital in the Bronx on September 23, 1948, Charles was the son of the late William and Octavia (Hart) Seabring. He proudly served in the Army National Guard. Charles retired from IBM after 35 years of service in Tarrytown and East Fishkill.

An avid fan of New York teams, his favorites were the Rangers, Yankees, and Giants. More than anything, Charles loved watching his grandchildren grow up and was their biggest fan at their hockey games, gymnastic events, and other activities over the years.

He is survived by his son, Charles James Seabring, Jr. and his wife Amy; his grandchildren, Christian and Ariana Seabring; his brother, William Seabring; and his former wife with whom he remained friends, Catherine Seabring.

Visitation will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Monday from 3 - 7 pm with a funeral service at 6:45 pm.
