Charles Vetter,
Jr.
February 4, 1975 – February 18, 2025
It is with the deepest of sorrow that we announce the untimely death of our beloved Charlie, following a short illness. All who knew him felt the love, light and laughter he brought to this world, and for that he will never be forgotten.
Charlie was born Charles George Vetter Jr. on February 4th in Mt Kisco to proud parents, Barbara and Charles (Buddy). He fondly became a "momma's boy", and proclaimed that title so proudly. His father's unwavering support in all his life's decisions meant the world to him. He spent his early years developing a love for horses, which became a lifelong passion. He went on to thrive in a successful career in real estate. He grew from a sales agent to regional manager at Houlihan Lawrence. His coworkers and colleagues were nothing short of family to him. In a hustle and bustle world, Charlie took the time to make each encounter feel familiar and special, which led to deeply felt friendships that spanned his 25-year career.
In his personal life, he is survived by his loving partner of 30 years, Joe, and their four rescue dogs Beatrice, Beau, Bandit and Hudson. They were his world. His love for dogs was obvious through his support of the SPCA as well as other local animal rescues.
Family was everything to Charlie, and he was everything to them. Aside from his loving parents Barbara and Charles (Buddy), Charlie is survived by his brother Cody and wife Stacey, their children Savannah and Daniel. He is also survived by his sister and best friend Shannon, her husband George and their son Takis; his cousin Regina and her partner Rob; as well as loving uncles, cousins and countless friends.
There aren't enough words to describe this man who was loved by so many. He will be eternally treasured and deeply missed.
