Charles E. Zeeb, 88, of Putnam Valley, died on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.
Born in New York, NY on December 24, 1925, he was the son of the late Charles G. and Anna Zeeb. He served in the U.S. Navy and is a proud WWII Veteran.
He was employed by the Metropolitan Museum of Art for 30 years. After his retirement, he began a new career, first as a custodian & bus driver for the Tarrytown School District, later as the head custodian for Ardsley School District, and finished in 1991 with the Croton School District as Superintendent of Buildings & Grounds.
He is survived by his two sons, Charles "Rusty" Zeeb & his wife Mardi of Weatherford, TX and James R. Zeeb & his wife Kathy of Hudson Oaks, TX; his two daughters, Julie Bliss of Fishkill and Wendy Blake & her husband Michael of Yonkers; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was predeceased by his grandson, Zachary Zeeb.
