Chris Pete Breidhaupt, 58, a lifelong Dutchess County resident, passed away at home on Saturday, January 8, 2011.
An honored Navy Veteran and beloved friend & neighbor, he will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
Born in Queens on March 14, 1952, he was son of the late Charles Edward and Catherine Baylash Breidhaupt.
On October 2, 2005, he married Camille Quicci at Villa Borghese in Wappingers Falls. Mrs. Breidhaupt survives at home and would like to express: "Anyone who knew Pete was lucky beyond belief, I know this because I was married to him. He always protected me and did everything to please me."
Pete loved his family, including his wife; his sisters, Leona Breidhaupt & Donna Tomlins; his children, Nicole & Robert Faby and Denisemarie & J.J. Kentala; and his grandchildren, Amber Faby, Robert Faby, Melissa West, & Amanda Faby.
He was predeceased by his brother, Norman Breidhaupt.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. immediately following calling hours, at the funeral home.
