WAPPINGERS FALLS - Christian Volpe, 77, a resident of Wappingers Falls, died on April 16, 2020 at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ.

Born in the Bronx on November 15, 1942, he was the son of the late John and Ethel (Hohns) Volpe. He worked as a conductor for the New York City Transit Authority for over 25 years until his retirement.

Christian is survived by his wife, Marlene (Guarino) Volpe at home; his children, Lori Costa and her husband (Robert) of Hopewell Junction and Larry Britt of Poughkeepsie; his grandchildren, Christina Santiago and her husband Carlos, Robert Costa, Jr. and his wife Danielle, and Tiana Costa; his great-grandchildren, Adriana and Gianna Santiago; and his brother, William Volpe and his wife Angela.
