Christina Pelech, 88, of Poughquag and formerly of the Bronx, died on Monday, September 21, 2009.  Born in Germany on January 24, 1921, she was a parishioner of St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction.  She was predeceased by  her husband, Paul Peter Pelech and is survived by her sons, Deacon Robert Pelech and Joseph Pelech and three granddaughters.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
