Christine Hoffman's Obituary
Christine Alice Hoffman, 61, died on November 4, 2015. She had been a resident of Hopewell Junction since 1970 and formerly of Brooklyn.
Born in Brooklyn on August 10, 1954, she was the daughter of Marie Smigel Hoffman of Hopewell Junction and the late Steven Hoffman, Sr. She received her Associates Degree in Sociology from Bennett College, and her Bachelors and Master's Degrees in English from NYIT. During college, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Ireland and Spain. Christine had been employed as a social worker by the State of New York at the Mid Hudson Forensic Psychiatric Center in
Middletown. She enjoyed knitting, reading, writing and arts and crafts.
In addition to her mother, Christine is survived by her brother, Steven Hoffman, Jr.; and several cousins.
