FISHKILL – Christine Lenden, 88, died on February 21, 2018. She formerly lived in Mahopac.

Born in New York City on September 7, 1929, Christine was the daughter of the late James and Louise Lenden. She owned and operated Casa di Bambini in Mahopac and Poughkeepsie for almost 40 years.

She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Suzanne and Cory Crew of Putnam Valley and Leslie Puleo and Larry Marchese of Fishkill; her grandchildren, Samantha Goldman and her husband Jared, Cory Crew, Jr., and Kristen Marchese; and her great-grandsons, Lucas and Connor.

She was a parishioner at St. Mary, Mother of the Church where she also taught CCD. She also volunteered at Castle Point VAMC.

A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday at 10 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Donations may be made to Support Connection, an organization dedicated to those affected by breast and ovarian cancers.
