Christopher Charles Derr, 33, a resident of East Fishkill and previously of the Bronx, died at home on January 27, 2022.

Born on December 21, 1988 in the Bronx, Christopher was the son of Robert Donald Derr, Sr. and Jane Ann (Lenahan) Derr.

Christopher was a waiter at Outback Steakhouse for many years and enjoyed playing softball. He was also an avid NY Mets fan.

Christopher is survived by his mother, Jane Derr; his brothers, Robert Donald Derr, Jr. and his fiancé Angelisa DeSantis, Joey Pineda; his niece, Ava Lynn Derr; his dog, Jax; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Donald Derr, Sr. on December 27, 2015.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held at 7pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA.
