EAST FISHKILL - Christopher J. Hoffman, 81, an area resident since 1973 and formerly of Trenton, NJ, died peacefully at his home on April 20, 2018 with his beloved cat, Bruno, by his side.

Born in Baltimore, MD on April 19, 1937, he was the son of the late Bernard L. Hoffman, Sr. and Catherine (Rosemer) Hoffman. Christopher was employed at IBM in East Fishkill and Kingston for 25 years. An avid fan of the New York Jets, he was a member of the Candlewood Yacht Club and the Hudson Valley Ski Club. He enjoyed boating, camping, traveling, dancing, and dining out, but more than anything, he loved his family. He was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Hopewell Junction.

Christopher is survived by his children, Lisa and Allan Gallagher of Poughkeepsie, Corie Hoffman-Mulvaney of Rhinebeck, Meryl Daniels of Hopewell Junction, and Brian and Amanda Tierney of Poughkeepsie; his grandchildren, Ryan Gallagher, Shaun Gallagher, Thomas Hoffman and his wife Christina, Eliza Mulvaney, and Emily, Teagan, and Braedon Tierney; his brother, Stanley Hoffman; his former spouses, Alyce Gregory and Sharon Myers-Hoffman; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Dr. Bernard L. Hoffman, Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 2-4pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:15 pm.
