Cindy Lu Vlajnic, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2023. She was born in Elmira, NY on May 20, 1959 to the late Delbert Evans Jr. and Agnes (Kole) Evans. On March 15, 1984 she married the love of her life, Milorad Vlajnic, in Horseheads, NY.

Cindy was the C.F.O and Designer/Consultant for MV Custom Inc., a business she owned and operated along with her husband Milorad. She loved drawing designs for furniture and kitchens. She also loved cooking and gardening.

In addition to her beloved husband Milorad, she is survived by her brothers Joel Evans (Theresa) and Lynn Evans (Sharon); her sister-in-law Vera Vlajnic; her nephew Nenad Vlajnic and his children Nemanja and Milorad; and her niece Dusica Vlajnic and her son Marko; as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Cindy was predeceased by her parents Delbert and Agnes; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Svetislav and Keti Vlajnic; and her brother-in-law Dusan Vlajnic.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday August 17, 2023 from 10-12 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will begin at 12 pm, followed by burial at St. Denis Cemetery in Hopewell Junction.
