Clarinda "Linda" Pedone, 94, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 2008 and formerly of Mount Vernon, died on May 26, 2016 at the Wingate at Dutchess.

Born in Manchester, NH on March 6, 1922, she was the daughter of John and Elveria Mansu Gomes. On December 31, 1944 in Mount Vernon, Linda married Stefano Pedone who predeceased her on December 9, 2013. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to cook for them and watch them enjoy the feast.

Linda is survived by her children, Catherine Perillo of Hopewell Junction and Daniel Pedone of North Arlington, NJ; her grandsons and their wives, Manny and Valerie Perillo of Wappingers Falls, and Stephen and Jamie Perillo of Hopewell Junction; her great grandchildren, Justin, Austin, Maia Lee and Lucas; and her sister, Mary Correia of Wallingford, CT.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 10am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
