Clayton M. Chamberlain, 65, of Wappingers Falls, died on June 25, 2025 at Westchester Co. Medical Center.
He was born to the late Clyde and Marion Roberts Chamberlain in Mt. Kisco, NY on May 31, 1960. After graduation he went to work for the Westchester Department of Corrections as an officer for almost 35 years. He retired in 2020.
Clay was a family man. He loved his family, especially his daughters and granddaughters. He had many friends. He was a kind and caring man who would do whatever he could to help anybody. Clay Loved to cook, have BBQs , July 4th parties, anything to bring people together. Summer always found him in the pool with the kids, mowing the lawn and taking care of everyones cars. He loved bowling, was a master wood worker, making rocking horses for new babies and furniture for family. He was a loyal Met fan, member and a proud Exhalted Ruler of Elks Lodge 744 in Peekskill.
Clay is survived by his beloved daughters Korinne and Kaitlin Chamberlain and cherished granddaughters Amara, Emma, and Alayah .Siblings: Carol, Clyde, Cheryl, Curtis and Jenny. SIL Adrienne Chamberlain, Companion Margaret Goodyear and her Family, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Craig.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Clay's life to be held at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 1- 4pm with a service at 3:30 pm. Please visit his Book of Memories at www.mchoulfuneralhome.com .
