Obituary

Clementina DeMatteo, 95, an area resident since 1988 and formerly of the Bronx, died on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at her home.
Born in Manhattan on April 29, 1918, she was the daughter of Arthur Loreto and Angelina Antenucci Loreto. Clementina had been employed by Madows Jewelry Store. She was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction and a member of the Town of Wappinger Seniors.
On June 3, 1944, Clementina married Edward DeMatteo who predeceased her on March 14, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Bonanno of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren and their spouses, James and Katrie Bonanno of Wappingers Falls, Vincent and Barbara Bonanno of Wappingers Falls and Patricia and Rich Williams of Philipsburg, PA; and her great-granddaughter, Anna Williams. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Joseph Bonanno.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
