Clementine Margiasso, 91, died on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at the Homewood Residence at Coconut Creek in Florida.
Born on January 31, 1920 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of the late Raffaele and Pasqualina Carfora Grassia. On June 30, 1946 in the Bronx, she married Angelo Margiasso, who predeceased her on December 6, 1995.
Clementine attended mass at St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction. She enjoyed bingo, shopping and ironing, but most of all, she loved her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Terry Holczinger and her husband Joe of Holmes, Carol Spilotras and her husband Joe of Margate, FL, Donna Kinlen and her husband John of Holmes, and Angel Torriero and her husband Donnie of Wellington, FL; her grandchildren, Joseph and his wife Kim, Michele and her husband Vincent, Nicole and her husband Will, Marci and her husband Chris, Donnie, Jen and her husband Mike, Amanda, Chris, Andrew, Dominique, and Dana; and her great-grandchildren, Madison, James, Joey, Noah, Bella, Brayden, and Lily. Clementine was also predeceased by her grandson, Michael.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
