Fishkill- Clifton W. Wetherbee, a resident of Fishkill, NY for the past 63 years, passed away at home on June 23, 2024. He was 89 years old.

Clifton was born April 11, 1935, in Littleton, New Hampshire, the son of the late Milton and Dorothy (Young) Wetherbee.

On June 16, 1958 in Barnet, Vermont, he married the love of his life Carol Pike. She pre-deceased him in 2015.

Clifton obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire. He went on to work at Texaco as a Chemist in Glenham, NY where he was proud to say he walked to every day during his career.

He was a member of the Fishkill United Methodist Church; he was very active in his children's lives acting as Den Leader for many years with both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America. He was a simple man who enjoyed camping, hiking and being with his family.

Clifton is survived by his children: Jimm and his wife, Renee Wetherbee, Stuart and his wife, Pamela Wetherbee, Beth and her husband, Barry Boyea and Emily and her husband, Michael Chiplock. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Milton, Cynthia, Jonathan, Charlotte, Nathanael, Jaclyn, Laura, Kimberly, Trevor and Rowan along with 5 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Clifton is pre-deceased by his brother Roger Wetherbee.
