STONY POINT – Conrad Nicholas Segelbacher, 56, a resident of Stony Point and previously of Hopewell Junction, died on June 12, 2020 at Nyack Hospital.
Born in the Bronx on June 17, 1963, he grew up in Stony Point and was the son of the late Conrad and Eva (Ganz) Segelbacher. He spent his career in construction including over 20 years with Vetrano/Tristate Construction.
An avid car enthusiast, Conrad was a member of the Trans Am Club. He enjoyed drinking Budweiser, and he liked tattoos, merchandise with skulls, and smoking cigars.
Conrad is survived by his son, Nicholas Segelbacher of Wappingers Falls and his fiancée Marisa Gallo of Poughquag; his siblings, Joe Segelbacher and his wife Lisa, John Segelbacher and his wife Susan, Richard Segelbacher, and Karin ; his Aunt Bobby Ganz; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by a funeral service at 8pm. In compliance with NYS guidelines, social distancing will be required and capacity may be limited. All attendees should be prepared for potential extended waiting periods.
