Consolacion Guilaran's Obituary
Consolacion S. "Nanay" Guilaran, 91, died on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.
Born in the Philippines on January 20, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Justinia (Merida) Sagansay. In 1974, she emigrated to the United States and settled in Poughkeepsie. For many years, she worked as a machine operator for Candy Lane, a candy cane factory in Poughkeepsie.
In 1969, she was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Guilaran.
Consolacion is survived by her daughter, Erlinda Donahue & her companion Nicholas Liguori of Poughkeepsie; her son, Rene Guilaran & his wife Mildred of Poughkeepsie; her son, Ricardo Guilaran & his wife Carmelita of Nanuet; and many loving grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her brother, Rizalino Sagansay; and three sons, Herminigildo, Genginilo, & Felix Guilaran.
