Cornelia A. "Connie" McDougall, 89, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at the Filosa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Danbury, CT.

A Danbury resident since 2017, she previously resided in Wappingers Falls for 56 years.

Daughter of the late Andrew and Kathleen (Benson) Maloney, Connie was born on November 1, 1931 in the Bronx, where she lived throughout her youth and early adulthood.

On May 2, 1958, she married Gerald J. McDougall at St. John's Church (Bronx). Gerald predeceased Connie on May 16, 1996.

She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Anne Vier & her husband Paul of Ridgefield, CT; her son, Thomas McDougall & his wife Kathleen of Kill Devil Hills, NC; her son, Gerard McDougall & his wife Jennifer of Edgartown, MA; her grandchildren: Sheri Altieri & her husband Joe of Salt Point, NY, Thomas McDougall & his wife Anniki Laine of Broadrun, VA, Kelly Hillard & her husband Mark of Charleston, NC, Shannon McDougall of Dudley, NC, Brian Vier of New York, NY, Marilyn Vier of Chicago, IL, Jack McDougall of Edgartown, MA, and Madison McDougall of Edgartown, MA; her great-grandchildren: Nieve Altieri, Obrey & Levi McDougall, and Andrew & Russell Hillard.

In addition to her husband and parents, Connie was also predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen McDougall, in 2004 and sisters Mary O'Shea, Peg Van Cleef and Anne Lo Bue.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 26 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY, followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hudson Valley Hospice.
