Dagny Andersen Morley died on January 26, 2014, after a years-long struggle with cancer. She was 76 years old.
Mrs. Morley was born on December 2, 1937, in the Bronx, New York, and grew up in Peekskill before moving to Wappinger Falls in the 1950s with her husband, Charles A. Morley. Mrs. Morley lived in Fishkill for the past ten years.
Dagny worked for many years selling Real Estate in Dutchess County. Dagny’s joy was her family and many friends. She loved going to garage sales and collecting “stuff”. She loved to travel and just enjoy life. Dagny had a heart of gold and will surely be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Morley’s husband and daughter, Brenda Peura, predeceased her. She is survived by sons, Guy Morley & his wife Chin Chu of Vienna, Virginia, and Christopher Morley & his wife Theresa of Wappingers Falls. She is also survived by grandchildren Casey Brewer & her husband Paul of Charlotte, NC, Rikk Peura of Charlotte,NC , Emily, Tyler and Sophie Morley of Vienna, VA, and Matthew and Anna Morley of Wappingers Falls, and by her great granddaughter Rachel Brewer of Charlotte, NC.
Visitation with the family is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 30, at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, January 31 at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
