Dalila Gonzalez, 92, died on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Wingate at Dutchess Health Care Facility in Fishkill.
She was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on April 6, 1926 and later moved to the Bronx, where she resided for many years.
Survivors include her grandson, Jose Puig and his wife Martha; her granddaughter, Michelle Morales; her great-grandchildren, Cristian and Olivia Puig; her brother, Camilo Gonzalez; her sister, Lidia Gonzalez; and many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
Dalila was preceded in death by her daughter, Milagro Rodriguez, in 1985.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will follow at St. Raymond Cemetery in the Bronx.
