STORMVILLE - Daniel John Shaffer, 60, a lifelong area resident, passed away on November 13, 2024 at Putnam Hospital Center.

Born in the Bronx on July 13, 1964, Daniel was the son of the late Clarence and Sheila Shaffer. He was a gifted musician who was a member of many bands over the years. He loved animals.

Daniel is survived by his sister, Greta Shaffer of Carmel; his nephew, Christopher Shaffer; his friends, Christpher Laubis and Dino Fergosi, among other close friends and family. He was predeceased by his brother, James Shaffer on May 16, 2024.
