Darren James Secor, 39, a resident of Kingston since 2009 and formerly of Poughkeepsie, died on Monday, July 27, 2015.

Darren was a gifted artist, skilled in photography, painting and drawing. He attended Dutchess Community College and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He worked primarily in graphic arts and media roles, ranging from photo restoration to audio and video editing.

Born in Poughkeepsie on December 16, 1975, he was the son of Richard and Gladys McKeown Secor who predeceased him. Darren is survived by his brother, Derrick Secor and his wife Amanda of Manhattan; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins locally, as well as in England and Scotland.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 10am at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel, 185 Hudson View Drive, Poughkeepsie followed by burial in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., Hopewell Junction.
