FISHKILL - David Bruce Furick, a lifelong local area resident, died in Cold Spring on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. He was 38.
He was born on June 2, 1980 in Poughkeepsie and was a graduate of John Jay Senior High School. He then worked as a paralegal for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Rietschel-Furick of New York; his mother, Lila Matessino and her partner James Mathis of North Carolina; his father, Bruce Furick and his wife Linda of Fishkill; his brother, Michael Furick and his wife Jasmine of North Carolina; his step-sister, Karen Donaldson and her husband Keith; his step-brother, John Fernandez; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 10th at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 11th at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
