David Marc Glickman, 64, an area resident since 1993 and formerly of Mahopac, passed away on August 17, 2026 at MidHudson Regional Hospital.

Born in New Rochelle on December 20, 1961, he was the son of the late Jerome and Ester (Garber) Glickman. David proudly served our country in the US Army, a chapter of his life that he cherished. He retired as a plumber with Markley Mechanical in Peekskill.

David had a zest for life that was infectious. He loved riding his motorcycle, embraced adventure, and was actively engaged as the President and Treasurer of the Ridin Free MC. But above all, his heart overflowed with love for his family-especially his grandsons who brought him endless joy as their PopPop.

On October 31, 1992 in Salem, MA, David married Sheryl Korson who survives at home. He is also survived by his son, Joseph Glickman, his wife Jennifer, and his brothers, James and Michael; his grandsons, Dylan, Lucas and Zayne; his siblings, Sheri Kranz and Alan Glickman; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

To celebrate David's incredible life and the joy he brought to our hearts, family and friends will gather for calling hours on Saturday from 12-2pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 PM, where we will honor his memory with military honors and share stories that will bring smiles to our faces-just the way he would have wanted.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to two very special causes that were very close to his heart. The first is the Survival Outreach Sanctuary, 22005 Bowman Rd
Spring Hill, FL 34610. (https://soswildlife.org/) David rescued three tigers, Miriam, Moses and Dexter, from Pennsylvania and now they are lovingly cared for at SOS. Through his motorcycle club, they always donated to Toys for Teens to help spread joy to those who need it most!
