PLEASANT VALLEY - David Michael Johannssen, 38, a lifelong area resident, died on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born on December 10, 1976 in Poughkeepsie, David had been a resident of the Cardinal Hayes Home for many years. He enjoyed listening to Madonna and was an avid sports fan.
David is survived by his parents, Nancy (Liccardi) and David Bogucki; his sister, Tanya Johannssen, stepsister, Amy Bogucki; his aunts and uncles, Sylvia and Alfred Braun, Frank and Elaine Liccardi, Dwayne Bogucki and Donna Corbett; his cousins, Anthony, Laurie and Frankie Liccardi, Margaret Marshall, Kathryn and William Daniel Walsh.
Funeral services were held privately at the request of the family. Interment was at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in David’s memory to the Cardinal Hayes Home, PO Box CH, Millbrook, NY 12545.
