FISHKILL – David John Kreutzberg, 48, an area resident for 6 years and formerly of Yonkers, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Yonkers on September 9, 1965, he was the son of Donald and Elizabeth (Lucas) Kreutzberg. On October 12, 1996 at St. Casimir's Church in Yonkers, he married Valerie Geremia who survives at home. David was employed as a boiler operator for Con Edison in Manhattan for over 10 years.

In addition to his wife and parents, David is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Kreutzberg at home; his sisters, Betty Kreutzberg of Yonkers and Donna (Kreutzberg) Ferine of Wappingers Falls; his brother, Kenneth Kreutzberg of Yonkers; his father-in-law, Albert Geremia; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. He was recently predeceased by his brother, Donald Lucas Kreutzberg, who died on February 18, 2014.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
