Dean Anthony DiPietro, born on February 24, 1960, passed away unexpectedly on August 2, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Hospital at the age of 53.
Born and raised in Dutchess County, Dean lived with the enthusiasm for life that so few of us have been lucky enough to experience. Aside from his passion for hobbies such as fishing, gardening and just tinkering with anything he could get his hands on, he had a passion for people.
Dean devoted his life to his wife Colleen, a woman he loved and was married to for 27 years, and his two daughters Kelli-Lynn, and Jessica. Anyone he knew was blessed by his kindness, respect, and love. Aside from his wife and two children, he is also survived by his mother Jean DiPietro, his father Thomas DiPietro and his wife Sharon, his brothers Thomas, James, Eugene, Glen and Anthony as well as his three sisters Caroline, Debbie, and Patricia. The names mentioned are but a fraction of the lives of the many people he cherished so much.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
