Deborah Bailey-Browne, a three year resident of Albany and longtime Dutchess County resident, died at home on Friday, July 25, 2014. She was 49.

She was born in Manhattan on August 27, 1964. She earned her bachelor's degree from Pace University in 1987 and her MBA from Fordham University in 1996.
Deborah established a successful career in the accounting and finance industries, having worked for many firms including Deloitte & Touche, Cadbury Schweppes, and Price Waterhouse. In 2004, she founded Deborah Bailey-Browne CPA & Associates in Poughkeepsie.

She was actively involved in several local business and civic associations and non-profit organizations, and was former chairwoman of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Dutchess County Arts Council. She was also Past President of the Mid-Hudson Chapter of New York State Society CPAs.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Pryba, at home; her mother, Inez (Mulholland) Bailey of Fishkill; her sister, Jacqueline Pastor & her husband Walter of Dobbs Ferry; her brother, William Bailey & his wife Lori of Hopewell Junction; her nieces & nephews, Walter & Andrew Pastor, and Caitlin, Amanda, & Julia Bailey; her aunt, Lorie Kelly & her husband William of Ardsley, along with their children Ryan & Joy; and her beloved dogs, Arianna & Maddie.

She was predeceased by her father, William Bailey.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 31 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at TIME/DAY at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
