FISHKILL – Deborah Sue DeSoto, 67, died on April 21, 2016 at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Born on March 29, 1949 in Rome, GA, Deborah was the daughter of the late Vernon and Mary Louise (Johnston) Smith. She moved to Fishkill, where she raised her children. Throughout her life, she often visited Georgia, and moved back for a short time later in her life.

Deborah is survived by her daughters, Nicole Donaldson and her husband Robert of Loganville, GA; Kimberly Tonyes and her husband Vincent of Beacon; and Laura DeSoto of Stanfordville; her grandchildren, Tyler, Isabelle, Christian, Luke, and Noah Donaldson and Sophia, Vincent Jr., Joshua, and Jackson Tonyes; her sister, Theresa Davenport; and her brother, Raymond Smith.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill with a memorial service at 3:30pm.
