Deborah A. McCaffrey

Deborah A. McCaffrey passed away on May 22, 2026 at her sister's home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 73 years old. Deborah was born in Beacon, NY on April 25, 1953 to the late Carl and Rose (Schiavi) Pierce. On June 6, 1982, she married the love of her life Robert "Bob" McCaffrey. They spent many wonderful years together until his death in 2019.

Debby was a longtime member of John 3:16 Christian Ministries. In addition to her faith in God, family was the most important thing in the world to Debby. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother was everything to her and she cherished every moment spent with her daughter and best friend Breana, and granddaughter Sadie. She loved to cook meals for her family, especially pasta and meatballs, and when she wasn't up for cooking, she would treat Sadie to some French onion soup at the Redline Diner.

Debby loved to keep a clean house, and always made sure she had her hair and makeup done whenever she would go out. She loved her word puzzles, reading on her Kindle, Fox News, and online shopping. She always had packages coming to the house for Sadie!

Debby is survived by her daughter Breana Rivera and her husband Cory, her granddaughter Sadie Rivera, her sisters Darlene Poulin, Carla Doucette and her husband Gerry, and Michele Marina and her husband Richard, as well as many nieces and nephews: David, John, Krissy, Shannon, Sherrie and their families.

In addition to her parents, and husband Bob, Debby was predeceased by her brothers-in-law Yvon Poulin and Michael McCaffrey, and her great-nephew baby Todd Lanthier.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday May 26, 2026 from 10am - 1pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill 1089 Main St. Fishkill, NY. A Funeral Service will begin at 1 pm. Following the service, burial will take place at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
