Debra A. Bello, a one year resident of Watervliet and formerly of Hopewell Junction, died on Sunday, June 17, 2012 after a courageous, four year battle with cancer. She was 46.
Daughter of Ralph and Anna Silvestri Bello, she was born in Brooklyn on August 14, 1965. Her father predeceased her in 1988.
Debra's love for children was immeasurable and she often babysat for her family and friends. She had and affection toward animals as well.
She is survived by her mother, Anna Bello of New Milford, CT; her daughter, Tiffany Brown of Watervliet; her son, Chris Brown of Watervliet; her daughter, Alexis Brown of Watervliet; her twin brother, James Bello & his wife Marci of Hopewell Junction; her sister, Francine Speede & her husband Mark of Connecticut; her brother, Michael Bello of Poughkeepsie; her sister, Christine Bello of Connecticut; her companion, the father of her children, Randy Brown of Watervliet; also many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives & friends.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20 at the funeral home, followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a trust has been established to benefit Debra's children. Memorial envelopes will be available at the calling hours and service.
