CROTON-ON-HUDSON – Debra A. Leis Lucas, 60, formerly of Saratoga Springs and LaGrangeville, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at home.

Born in Yonkers on December 15, 1953, she was the daughter of Edward Ruffalo and the late Concetta Ruffalo. On August 10, 1974 in Yonkers, she married Richard J. Leis who predeceased her on November 4, 1999. Debra was a member of the Red Hats Society in Saratoga.

She is survived by her children, David Leis and his wife Jo-Ann of Pleasantville, Mark Leis of Saratoga, and John Leis and his wife Kathleen of Manhattan; her father, Edward Ruffalo of Texas; her grandchildren, Jake, Emma, and Evan; her siblings, Ed Ruffalo, Jr. of Waretown, NJ, Laura Keegan of Yonkers, Len and Sue Cannavo of Indiana, Lorraine Hannon of Wappingers Falls, Kathy Chesney of Fishkill, John DiNiona of Yonkers, and Michael Torhan of Fishkill; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 -5 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
