Debra Ann Pappas, 68, a resident of Hopewell Junction and formerly of Farmingdale, died on February 9, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.

Born on March 2, 1953 in Manhattan, Debra was the daughter of Dennis and Anna (Plunkett) Fee.

Debra was a devoted Mother, who dedicated her life to raising and caring for her children and grandchildren. She made sure to attend all the baseball and softball games for her children. Debra enjoyed gardening and watching the hallmark channel while crocheting and was an avid Yankees fan .

Debra was selfless, always willing to help others.

Debra is survived by her children, Melissa Kristan and her husband Andrew of Hopewell Junction, Justin Pappas of Brooklyn, Meghan Dalen and her husband Christopher of Seaford, Long Island, and Ashley Devlin and her husband Brian of Patterson; her grandchildren, Alexa, Emma, Audrey, Ava and Charlie; and her brothers, Dennis Fee and Bernie Fee. She was predeceased by her husband, Alex Pappas, on April 14, 2021.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
