BEACON – Debra L. Pavelock, 64, a lifelong area resident, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2018 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence surrounded by her family.

Born in Cold Spring, NY, on February 14, 1954, Debra was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (O'Dell) Powlis. Debra retired from Chelsea Ridge Apartments where she worked as the head of housekeeping. Before that, she worked at Butterfield Hospital in Cold Spring.

On March 26, 1977 in Wappingers Falls, NY, Debra married Frank Pavelock who survives at home. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, Nancy and Michael Coulter of Beacon and Tanya and Phil Rossignol, Jr. of Beacon; her grandchildren, Erica Vathke, Alexa Coulter, Olivia Coulter, and Philip Rossignol, III; her siblings and their spouses, John and Amy Powlis, Ruth Kniffen, Gary and Sue Powlis, Jeffrey Powlis, Fred and Kim Powlis, Dennis and Terry Powlis, Robert and Linda Powlis, Kevin and Jody Powlis, Mary and Rich Laffin, and Jackie Khan; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
