EAST FISHKILL - Dennis Joseph Broccolo, 64, an area resident for 12 years and formerly of New Rochelle, died unexpectedly at his home on October 19, 2025.

Born in the Bronx on December 15, 1960, he was the son of the late Dr. Joseph Broccolo and Josephine (Tinelli) Broccolo. Dennis attended the Fordham School of Law and Cornell University, and also took specialty classes at Massachusetts General Hospital. He worked as a Special Investigator for Hartford Insurance Company. He was also a self-employed malpractice Paralegal.

Dennis was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction and a member of St. Mary's Council #4065, Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed attending the First Saturday Luncheons at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church. Dennis was very devoted to supporting Veterans and animals.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Vega; his sisters, Catherine Carino and Carol Manousos and her husband Anthony; his nieces and nephews, Nicole and Joseph Garafalo, Justin and Elizabeth Carino, Danielle and David Shaw, Diana and Brian White, Anthony Manousos, and Andrew Manousos; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Philip, Dominic, Nicholas, Sophia, Khole, Anthony, Troy, William, Penelope and Andrew. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Edward Broccolo, and his brother-in-law, Anthony Carino.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 11:30am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.

Memorial donations may be made in Dennis' memory to Castle Point VA Medical Center.
