Diana Acaron's Obituary
Diana Acaron, 84, a resident of Hopewell Junction for 20 years and formerly of Yorktown Heights and Queens, died on November 10, 2016.
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on July 14, 1932, she was the daughter of Candido and Angela Julbe Alvarez. Diana was a parishioner of St. Columba Church.
On May 16, 1953 at St. Anselm's Church in the Bronx, Diana married Edward T. Acaron who predeceased her on Mary 7, 2007. Diana is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Laura Rose and Richard Argenio of Newburgh, and Diana and John Emery of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, Jason, Phillip and Gina Bautista, Samantha, Tyler and Edward Emery; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Charles, William, Patrick, Spaulding and Frederick.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10am at St. Columba Church,835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
