Garrison - Diana Lynn Sanchez-Malon, a resident of Garrison for over 40 years, died peacefully at home on November 17, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was 80 years old.

Diana was born on October 28, 1944 to Nathan and Frances (Greenman) Ginsberg in Yonkers, NY. She was a self-employed artist who loved working with paints and sculptures. She actively played the piano since she was a little girl and was fond of the Opera. She loved spending time with her friends, especially if it included a trip to the casino. But nothing made her happier than spending time in her home where she spent her summers swimming in the pool.

Diana is survived by her son Adam Sanchez and his wife Susan of Wappingers Falls; her stepsons, Robert Malon and his wife Toni of Hopewell Jct., and Steven Malon and his wife Phyllis of Fishkill; her grandchildren, Stephen Malon, Eric Malon, Kayleigh Sanchez and Josie Sanchez; her brother, Philip Ginsberg and his wife Leslie of California; her brother-in-law, Heinz Malon of Florida; and her many friends.

In addition to her parents, Diana was predeceased by her husband, Rudy Malon in 2020, her grandchildren, Alex Malon and Nia Sanchez, and her brother, Ronald Ginsberg.

Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, NY. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers or any gifts, please consider a donation to cancer research in Diana's name or to Hospice Care.
