Wappingers Falls- Diella Desiree Archie, a resident of Wappingers Falls, NY and Latham, NY passed away on September 6, 2024, at her home in Latham, NY.

Diella was born on March 28, 1996, in New Rochelle, NY to her loving parents Nola James Archie and Roland Archie.

She attended R.C. Ketcham High School, graduating in 2014. She then went on to further her studies obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Binghamton University in 2017 and then on to St. Mary's College in Brooklyn where she completed the nursing program in 2022.

Diella enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading. She loved trying new foods and travelling. Her love of travel took her many places including England, Guatemala, Mexico, Canada and a recent trip to the Bahamas with her brother Roland Jr. and many trips to Trinidad and Tobago to visit family.

In addition to her parents Nola and Roland, Diella is survived by her brother Roland Archie Jr. and his partner Emily Tompkins and her boyfriend Jake Varian.

Calling hours will be Thursday September 12, 2024, at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill Inc. 1089 Main Street from 5pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday September 13, 2024, at 10 AM at St. Mary, Mother of the Church 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY. Interment to follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
