Obituary

Dolores Rose Wisinski Albert, 83, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Putnam Valley, NY and Hendersonville, NC died on October 29, 2013 at Hudson Valley Hospital.
She was born in her grandmother's home in Philadelphia, PA. She attended the Arts Student League in Manhattan and became an accomplished artist. Her best known painting, "Black Madonna, Our Lady of Czestochowa, Queen of Catholic Action" was presented to Pope John Paul II and is hanging in the Pope's private chapel, Castel Gandolfo, in Rome. She was predeceased last month by her beloved husband of 54 years, Marty. She leaves behind The Five J's: John, James and his wife Sharon, Jennifer and her husband Brian Tompkins, Jeffrey and his wife Jill, and Joanna; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or to the Kingston Catholic School Arts Program.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday at St. Columbanus Church, 122 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor followed by inurnment at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Putnam Valley.
