Dolores Claudio Davila, a 20 year resident of Carmel and formerly of Mahopac, died on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco. She was 94.
Daughter of the late Jose and Marta Cruz Claudio, she was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico on August 20, 1918. On July 24, 1953, she married Norberto Davila in Bronx, NY. Her husband survives at home in Carmel.
Additional survivors include her two daughters, Helen Sclafani of Carmel and Grace Thomson (Patrick) of New Berlin; her grandchildren, Roseann Luongo (Wade) of Saugus, MA, Melissa Calabro (Bernard) of Wappingers Falls, Craig Thomson of Coventry, CT, Dwight Thomson of Schenectady, NY and Keith Thomson of Broadlands, VA; her great-grandchildren, Gavin, Nolan, Victoria, Elizabeth and Bernard; her brother, Moises Claudio of West Windsor, NJ; Also many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives & friends.
Calling hours will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. immediately following calling hours. Interment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
