Dolores B. McPartland

Dolores B. McPartland, a long-time resident of Fishkill for 55 years, formerly of Amityville, Long Island, and Cambria Heights, Queens, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was 91 years old.

Born in Queens on October 21, 1934, to the late George and Blanche (Stamm) Kluepfel, Dolores lived a life defined by devotion, service, and deep love for her family and faith. On June 5, 1954, she married the love of her life, Donald McPartland, with whom she shared a beautiful life until his passing on December 20, 2021.

Dolores had a servant's heart and spent her life caring for others. She worked for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Highland Hospital in Beacon and later brought warmth and smiles to school children as a lunchtime server. A faithful parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill, Dolores dedicated countless hours to decorating the altar with flowers. She was also deeply passionate about standing up for the unborn, a cause close to her heart.

She is survived by her devoted children and their spouses: Daniel (Susan), David (Sharon O'Rourke), Donald Jr. (Donna), Mary (Alberto) Paratore, Douglas (Yvonne), and Michael (Pascale). She leaves behind a cherished legacy in her 13 grandchildren: Jeremy, Nick, Adam, Sherman, Suzanne, Donald, Dillon, Dax, Bridgitte, Tristan, Ryan, Amanda, Barbie, Desiree' and Paul; and 8 great-grandchildren: Finley, Maddox, Callie, Tyler, Jace, Violet, Addison, and Brody. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, George and Linda, and was predeceased by her beloved sister, Marie Hueg.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to Dolores' dedicated 24-hour caregivers: Rita, Maxine, April, Giovanna, and Vanessa for their extraordinary care, tenderness, and support.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 12:30 PM at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, Fishkill, NY. Burial will follow immediately at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
