HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Dolores Bruzgul Ruchin, a lifelong resident of Dutchess County, died at home in East Fishkill on Saturday, September 8, 2018. She was 87.

Daughter of the late Edward and Lillian (Renner) Bruzgul, she was born on her family farm in Union Vale on July 7, 1931.

Dolores was employed by I.B.M. for nearly 22 years, working at many positions within the company's East Fishkill and Poughkeepsie locations. She retired in 1993. She was an active member of the community and for many years volunteered as a member of the Town of East Fishkill Planning Board and Architectural Review Board.

Dolores dedicated many years of her life by taking care of others and providing them with assistance and comfort. She will be remembered for her caring spirit and generosity. Dolores loved to cook and host dinner parties for family and friends. Her laughter and joy and good common sense will be forever missed.

She is survived by her loving son, Mitchell Ruchin of LaGrange; many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives & friends.
She was predeceased by her parents as well as two brothers, Albert and Edward Bruzgul.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
