BEEKMAN – Dominick Gasparini passed away on December 14, 2020 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital.

Dominick was born in Port Chester, NY on February 24, 1938 to Theresa and Frank Gasparini. He attended Port Chester High School and, after serving 6 years in the Naval Air Force, he married the love of his life, Carmela Mecca, in 1959. Her parents were Daniel and Gladys Mecca of Port Chester, NY.

He worked as an electrician for I.B.E.W. for 35 years. He worked for many years in the Sea Scouts, training people in boating skills, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling over the years. He retired to Hopewell Junction, NY in 1997.

In addition to his wife, Carmela, he is survived by his son, Frank Gasparini and wife Marilyn of Norwalk, CT; his daughter Holly Lucas and husband Bernard of Hopewell Junction, NY; his son Don Gasparini and wife Kim of Pleasant Valley, NY; his 8 grandchildren, Steven, Robert, Ryan, Austin, Natalie and Jason Gasparini, Krystal Delvalle and husband Ruben, and Andrew Lucas; his brother, Frank Gasparini Jr. of Ridgefield, CT; his sister, Maria Gasparini of Del Ray Beach, FL; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Veronica and Stan Dahle of Clinton, CT. In addition to his parents, Dominick was predeceased by his brother-in-law Don Mecca of Pompano Beach, FL in 2018.

He was a very loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, completely dedicated to his family. He enjoyed entertaining his family and friends with good humor and best of all being himself, “Just Dom.” We will cherish and miss him forever.

Private interment was held at St. Denis Cemetery.
