Obituary

Hopewell Junction - Dominick Vivenzio II, age 81, passed away on February 9, 2022 at home. Born on December 13, 1940 in the Bronx, he was the son of Dominick and Mary (Kowatch) Vivenzio.

During his youth, Dominick spent time as an altar boy. He graduated from Samuel Gompers Industrial Trade School in the Bronx. He started out his career as a delivery truck driver and went on to own several bar/restaurants including the Rathskeller in Mount Vernon and Rye, NY. He retired to Hopewell Junction where he spent his time outdoors by the pool with his golden retriever buddy Lucky.

Dominick was a huge Yankees and Jets fan, he loved movies and tv, but what he enjoyed the most was spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife Annette Spada; beloved children Donna Cordaro, Dominick and Tina Vivenzio; loving step-daughter Suzette Profanato (Jimmy); beloved grandchildren: Nicholas, Joseph, and Alyssa; brothers Peter Vivenzio (Nancy) and Michael Vivenzio (Lorraine); former spouse Sandra Vivenzio; and nieces and nephews: Peter Vivenzio (Marissa), Cara Veintimilla (Jorge), Thomas McDonough (Flo), Natalia Vivenzio, George Veintimilla, Gianna Veintimilla, Petey Vivenzio, Michael Vivenzio (Taylor), and Anthony Vivenzio.

Dominick was pre-deceased by his parents Dominick and Mary Vivenzio, and his golden retriever Lucky.

A funeral mass will take place on Saturday February 19th at 10am at St. Mary Mother of the Church, Fishkill, NY. Funeral arrangements under the direction of McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc 1089 Main St. Fishkill, NY.
