Dominick A. Scafidi, 93, formerly of Carmel & Brooklyn, died on November 2, 2012 in Poughkeepsie. Born in Brooklyn on August 3, 1919, he was son of Dominick & Marina (Natoli) Scafidi. He served in US Army from 1942-1946 and was employed by Hayden Stone in NYC for 20 years until his retirement in 1982. Survivors include nieces, Sine Burlon and Amy Bosco; and nephews, Dominick, Vincent and Frank Scafidi. Calling hours on Sunday from 2-5 pm at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Rte 82, Hopewell Jct. followed by the funeral service at 5pm.
