Donald B. Avery, Jr., 58, an area resident for more than 20 years and formerly of Kingston, died suddenly on March 14, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Ellenville on July 27, 1958, he was the son of the late Donald B. Avery Sr. and Ella Gladys Coutant Avery. He had worked at Mr. G's Deli in Hopewell Junction. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hiking.
Don is survived by his son, Donald B. Avery III; his granddaughter, Marissa Avery; and his sisters, Kathy Holloway, Donna Lubniewski, Karen Ryan, and Jennifer Avery. He was predeceased by his sister, Peggy Avery.
