LONGVIEW, TX – Donald Campbell Gingras, 65, died on August 24, 2022, at Christus Good Shepard Hospital in Longview, TX.
Don graduated from the Hackley School in Tarrytown, NY where he swam competitively. A big fan of music his favorite pastime was attending concerts especially Grateful Dead shows.
Born in Tarrytown, NY on January 9, 1957, Donald was the son of the late Donald and Elizabeth (Maher) Gingras. He previously lived in Hopewell Junction, NY where he was a parishioner at St. Denis Church. He lived many years in California where the lovely weather allowed him to play a lot of golf.
Donald is survived by his sister, Ellen Gingras Barkhuff and her husband James of Falmouth, MA, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on September 7, 2022, at 11am at St. Denis Cemetery, 604 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home. Please visit Donald's Book of Memories at www.mchoulfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
